ANT1 premieres drama series “Spilades” based on Maria Georgiadou novel

Greek broadcaster ANT1 is preparing to launch the drama series “Spilades,” adapted from the novel by Maria Georgiadou, who also wrote the screenplay. The series will be directed by George Papavasileiou and will feature an all‑star cast, including Denia Psyllia as Niki, Giolanda Kalogeropoulou as Antriana, Lazaros Georgakopoulos as Konstantinos Karalis, and several other actors portraying a close‑knit island family whose lives are upended by a tragic accident.

The first teaser has aired, showing the cast reading the script for the first time. Production preparations are under way and filming is expected to begin in the coming weeks, with the show slated for an autumn release on ANT1.
