ANT1 releases trailer for new period drama ‘Krino & Agathi’
ANT1 has released a new trailer for its upcoming period drama series, ‘Krino & Agathi’ (Lily and Thorn). Set in Arcadia in 1959, the story follows Markos Arvanitis, who served a prison sentence for a murder he did not commit to protect his younger brother, Thomas.
While in prison, Markos corresponded with a young woman named Lefki Drogouti. Upon his release, he proposes marriage to her, believing she is the love of his life. However, Lefki’s intentions are driven by revenge; she is the sister of Ilia, the man Markos was accused of killing. The series explores the conflict between Lefki’s mission for vengeance and her growing feelings for Markos as the truth regarding the crime begins to surface.
The production stars Giorgos Gerontidakis and Anastasia Pantousi.
