ANT1 to premiere new period drama ‘Krino & Agathi’

ANT1 is launching a new period drama series titled ‘Krino & Agathi’ (Lily & Thorn), which is scheduled to premiere with a double episode on Wednesday, September 23, at 21:00.

Set in mountainous Arcadia in 1959, the story follows a woman named Lefty (living under the identity of Eleni) who returns to the region to seek revenge for her brother’s death in 1944. The plot intertwines with Markos Arvanitis, a man seeking a new beginning after fifteen years in prison for a murder he claims he did not commit. As the two characters connect, their families remain divided by blood, silence, and historical injustice.

The series is directed by Andreas Morfonios and written by Gianna Kanellopoulou. The cast includes Anastasia Pantousi, Giorgos Gerontidakis, Katerina Didaskalou, Giannis Tsortekis, and Maria Zorba.
