Antalya apartment fire occurs while homeowner searches for missing son

A fire broke out in a five-story apartment building in the Kepez district of Antalya. The fire occurred in a ground-floor unit while the homeowner, Hasan A., was in Istanbul attempting to find his son, Kuzey Yağız A., who has been missing for eight days.

Neighbors noticed smoke and alerted emergency services. A child from a neighboring apartment entered the unit through a balcony to assist with the initial intervention before firefighters arrived. The fire was eventually brought under control by fire crews, resulting in material damage to the apartment.
