Antalya authorities resolve 99.8% of September public order incidents

Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin announced security and public order statistics for September, noting that 99.8% of the 11,174 reported public order incidents in the province were resolved. The data was presented during the ‘Antalya’s Peace Security and Public Order Information Meeting,’ held as part of the Ministry of Interior’s ‘Peace of Turkey’ project.

Law enforcement actions resulted in the apprehension of 4,424 individuals wanted for various crimes, with 690 subsequently arrested. Security forces conducted 2,894 inspections, including 2,000 shock operations, during which over 1.2 million people and 1.4 million vehicles were screened.

Specific enforcement efforts included 108 operations against drugs, 171 against smuggling and organized crime, and 20 against cybercrime. Authorities seized various weapons, including 110 pistols and 91 shotguns, as well as stolen vehicles and significant amounts of cash and jewelry. In organized crime operations alone, assets valued at approximately 1.159 billion TL were seized.
