Antalya Commodity Exchange prepares for Water Summit

The Antalya Commodity Exchange (ATB) is organizing a series of meetings titled ‘Antalya Water Dialogue: The Road to COP31’ to address the region's water future in the face of climate change, drought, and urbanization. The initiative aims to prepare for the COP31 summit by examining the increasing pressure on water resources from the agriculture, tourism, and industrial sectors.

Scheduled discussions will focus on water management in agriculture and tourism on September 15, followed by urban and industrial water management on September 16. These sessions will involve public institutions, local governments, universities, and private sector representatives. The ultimate goal is to develop the ‘Antalya Water Action Plan’ during the Antalya Water Summit, which will detail solutions ranging from water harvesting and technological transformation to infrastructure investments and the reuse of treated water.
