Antalya crash triggers dispute between car driver and e‑bike riders
A traffic collision occurred at a pedestrian crossing on Antalya Avenue in the Manavgat district of Turkey when a three‑wheeled electric tricycle struck a car that had stopped to allow pedestrians to cross. No one was injured. The driver of the electric tricycle and a passenger, both women, confronted the car driver and his wife, leading to a heated argument. The wife shouted, "Hem otomobile arkadan çarpıyor hem de kocama bağırıyorsunuz. Yaya geçidinden geçmekte olan yayaları ezip geçelim mi?" ("It’s hitting the car from behind and you’re shouting at my husband – should we run over the pedestrians?"). After the exchange, the car driver filed a complaint against the electric‑tricycle driver with the local police, raising concerns about the safety of pedestrian crossings in the area.
