Antalya expands municipal fleets for fire rescue and infrastructure

Antalya Metropolitan Municipality has expanded its service fleets through significant investments in emergency response and infrastructure management.

The Manavgat Fire Department has received two new specialized vehicles as part of a larger 24-vehicle acquisition for the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department. One vehicle features a 42-meter articulated ladder designed for high-rise rescues and firefighting, while the other is a multi-purpose vehicle equipped for fires and traffic accidents, containing generators, lighting, and rescue equipment. This addition brings the total number of fire and rescue vehicles in the Manavgat, Side, and Gündoğdu stations to 15.

Simultaneously, the Antalya Water and Sewerage Administration (ASAT) has added 30 new construction machines to its fleet at a cost of 202.75 million TL. These machines are being deployed across Antalya's central districts and outlying areas to support drinking water, sewage, rainwater, and wastewater infrastructure projects. The expansion aims to improve the speed and efficiency of maintenance, repairs, and emergency interventions across the region's diverse geography.
