Antalya Free Zone trade rises 9% in H1 2026, export surplus 188%

In the first half of 2026, the Antalya Free Zone recorded a total trade volume of $598.6 million, a 9 % increase over the same period a year earlier. Exports reached $332 million while imports were $177 million, resulting in an export‑to‑import ratio of 188 %, well above the national free‑zone average of 160 %.

The zone also supported domestic industry, with $49 million of inbound trade from the rest of Turkey and $41 million of sales to the local market. Employment rose to 7,109 workers across various sectors, underscoring the zone’s role in regional economic development. Across Turkey, all free zones together generated $14.34 billion in trade during the same period.
