Antalya hosts 10th annual Yöreler Renkler Festival

The 10th annual Yöreler Renkler Festival has commenced at the Muratpaşa Atatürk City Square in Antalya. Organized by the Muratpaşa Municipality, the nine-day event features 83 hometown and cultural associations showcasing regional foods, handmade products, and traditional values.

The festival opened with a Mediterranean Night, followed by a Southeast Anatolia Night featuring regional folk dances and musical performances by artists such as Ozan Gündemi, Serpil Efe, and Naciye Çokbilir. Muratpaşa Mayor Ümit Uysal emphasized the importance of the festival in fostering social cohesion and cultural exchange, stating, “The foundation of this country is culture. It is the blending of cultures.”

Stands are open daily from 12:00 to 23:00, with folk dance performances and concerts scheduled for 20:00 each evening through September 13.
