In Antalya, the Metropolitan Municipality is enhancing 1,200 bus stops with Braille alphabet signs and QR codes. Bursa is undergoing a digital transformation by integrating the ‘Engelsiz Bursa’ application into the ‘BursaKart Mobil’ platform. Managed by BURULAŞ, this update allows disabled passengers to request specific travel needs, such as notifying bus drivers of their boarding and alighting stops. The system also provides real-time tracking for tram and metro services.
In Talas, the municipality is installing smart intersections on Timuçin Street to manage heavy traffic flow and improve safety. Meanwhile, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality is increasing passenger comfort by installing 260 new benches across 24 tram stops.
