Antalya: Man rescued after suicide attempt at Kadınyarı Canyon

A 33-year-old man, identified as Kemal U., attempted to jump from a 30-meter-high iron railing at Kadınyarı Canyon in the Muratpaşa district of Antalya. Following reports from bystanders, emergency services, including police, firefighters, and medical teams, were dispatched to the scene.

A French tourist named Nadia witnessed the incident and remained at the site for approximately three hours to ensure the man's safety. She attempted to communicate with him and stated she would not leave until the situation was resolved.

After a prolonged negotiation by police and a specialist negotiator, Kemal U. was successfully brought down from the railing. He was subsequently taken by ambulance to a hospital for a medical evaluation and further health assessment.
