Antalya provides 657,400 square meters of greenhouse plastic to disaster-affected farmers
Antalya Metropolitan Municipality is providing 657,400 square meters of greenhouse plastic to producers affected by natural disasters such as storms, tornadoes, and fires. The initiative, managed by the Department of Agricultural Services, aims to prevent interruptions in agricultural production and support early-season cultivation between August 2025 and August 2026.
The distribution is concentrated in regions with intensive greenhouse farming. Kumluca received the largest share with 157,200 square meters, followed by Aksu (110,000 sqm), Gazipaşa (107,100 sqm), Finike (78,400 sqm), and Manavgat (51,900 sqm). Other recipient districts include Demre, Elmalı, Kaş, Kepez, Korkuteli, Muratpaşa, and Serik.
