Antam reports Rp6.91 trillion H1 2026 profit as gold prices rise
PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) reported a significant increase in net profit for the first half of 2026, reaching Rp6.91 trillion, a 34.4 percent rise compared to the same period in 2025. This growth was driven by a 6.3 percent increase in revenue to Rp62.71 trillion, supported by operational efficiencies and strong sales volumes in gold and nickel.
On September 10, 2026, Antam gold prices saw a notable increase, rising by Rp15,000 per gram to reach Rp2,625,000 per gram. Buyback prices also rose to Rp2,475,000 per gram. While Antam prices rose, other gold products like UBS and Galeri 24 at Pegadaian experienced price declines.
To strengthen its business fundamentals, Antam is focusing on commodity portfolio management and downstreaming in gold, nickel, and bauxite. The company is also planning the development of a precious metals manufacturing facility in Gresik with a projected capacity of 30 tons per year. Additionally, gold investment accessibility in Indonesia has expanded with the introduction of gold-based Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
