Indonesia's Antam gold price falls 32,000 IDR per gram on June 6

On Saturday 6 June 2026 the price of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) gold bars dropped to 2,738,000 IDR per gram, down 32,000 IDR from the previous day’s 2,770,000 IDR. The buy‑back price for Antam gold also slipped to 2,531,000 IDR per gram. At the same time, other Indonesian gold brands reported price increases: UBS gold rose to 2,836,000 IDR per gram and Galeri24 to 2,773,000 IDR per gram. All brands showed higher rates across various gram‑sizes, indicating mixed movements in the domestic precious‑metal market. Transactions remain subject to the government’s tax regime (PMK No. 34/PMK. 10/2017), with a 0.45 % or 0.9 % levy for purchases and higher rates for buy‑back sales exceeding 10 million IDR.
