ANTAM purchases 9 tons of gold from PT Freeport Indonesia

PT ANTAM (Persero) Tbk has purchased 9 tons of gold from PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) between January and August 2026. The gold was produced at PTFI’s Precious Metals Refinery (PMR) facility located in Gresik, East Java, with a purity level of 99.99%.

This procurement is part of a strategic effort to strengthen the national gold supply chain by increasing the utilization of domestic resources. The synergy between ANTAM and PTFI aims to connect upstream production with downstream needs, ensuring a high-quality, traceable, and ESG-compliant supply of raw materials. ANTAM and PTFI have previously established a gold purchase agreement with a capacity of up to 30 tons per year.
