Antapaccay supports 100+ Espinar youths with scholarship program

More than 100 young people from various communities in Espinar, Cusco, attended the I Encuentro de Becarios Antapaccay 2026, a program organized by mining company Antapaccay. The event, held at the Central de Recursos Educativos Especializados (CREE), offered training on stress management, academic adaptation, self‑esteem and career planning, aiming to improve participants' readiness for university life and the job market.

Antapaccay highlighted that since 2012 it has granted integral scholarships to over 650 students from the province, financing 328 scholarships in 2025 alone. The program seeks to strengthen local capacities and support the professional development of the region’s youth, with 45 % of beneficiaries being women.
