Antarctic Cruises Launch New Expedition Voyages from Ushuaia

Princess Cruises is offering a 21‑day South America and Antarctica itinerary on the Majestic Princess, departing 21 January 2027. The package, priced from €4,299, includes flights from Germany, a hotel night in Buenos Aires, and a 17‑night cruise visiting Buenos Aires, Punta Arenas, Ushuaia, the Antarctic Peninsula, the Falkland Islands and Montevideo.

HX Expeditions is operating the hybrid‑propulsion vessel MS Fridtjof Nansen on Antarctic voyages that also depart from Ushuaia. The ship features environmental measures such as reduced emissions and stabilisers for the rough Drake Passage. Passengers can expect wildlife sightings, zodiac excursions onto ice, and passages through the Lemaire Channel under summer temperatures near the freezing point.
