Antequera hosts handball fair to promote fair play

The city of Antequera will host the "Quiero jugar sin insultos" (I want to play without insults) awareness day on October 23. Sponsored by the Diputación de Málaga, the initiative aims to promote fair play and eradicate unsportsmanlike conduct and insults within handball matches, involving players, families, coaches, and referees.

The event features David Alcoholado, a territorial referee from the Málaga Technical Committee, and Juan Antonio Bernal, an Andalusian refereeing official and primary promoter of the campaign. The initiative follows recognition by the Junta de Andalucía at the 2023 Andalucía Sports Awards.

In sports news, Balonmano Dólmenes Antequera is scheduled to face Contazara Zaragoza on October 24. The Antequera team seeks to break a four-game losing streak in a match critical for their standing in the league.
