ANTER hosts renewable energy educational session in Bagno a Ripoli

Students from the Teresa Mattei Comprehensive Institute in Bagno a Ripoli participated in an educational session titled ‘Il Sole in Classe’ as part of the municipality’s ‘Environment Week’. The initiative was organized by ANTER (Associazione Nazionale Tutela Energie Rinnovabili) in collaboration with the local administration through the ‘Un Comune per Amico’ project.

During the event, held in a crowded council hall, Lucrezia Betti from ANTER used animated content to teach students about various renewable energy sources and the importance of sustainability for the future. Francesco Conti, the Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Education, Environment, and Ecological Transition, emphasized that small daily actions, such as waste sorting, contribute to environmental protection and encouraged students to bring these habits home to their families.

Lohengrin Becagli, Director of ANTER, expressed satisfaction with the ongoing collaboration and noted that this lesson is part of a continuous educational path that will extend to other local schools throughout the academic year.
