Anthí Voulgári files domestic violence complaint against husband

Greek journalist and presenter Anthí Voulgári has filed a complaint of domestic violence against her husband, musician Kóstas Konstantinídis, following an incident at their home in Agía Paraskeví.

According to reports, the confrontation involved verbal abuse and physical allegations, including claims that Voulgári was pulled by her hair. Following the incident, police were called to the residence, and Konstantinídis was initially taken into custody. The case was subsequently processed through the Office for Combating Domestic Violence.

While the initial reports focused on verbal abuse, the legal investigation has moved toward domestic violence charges. Konstantinídis was brought before the courts at the former Evelpidon School. He has reportedly denied all allegations of physical violence, admitting only to an intense argument.

As of the latest updates, Konstantinídis has been released, though legal proceedings continue. Voulgári has reportedly considered whether to proceed with a formal lawsuit, as certain offenses like verbal abuse require a specific complaint to trigger prosecution. The incident has drawn significant public attention due to Voulgári’s previous public stances on the importance of addressing domestic violence.
