Anthbot M9 Pro lawn‑mower robot launches with quad‑fusion navigation system
Anthbot has introduced the M9 Pro, a lawn‑mower robot that integrates four positioning technologies—360° LiDAR, satellite‑based RTK, 4G‑enabled NetRTK and dual AI‑vision cameras—into a “quad‑fusion” navigation system. The combination allows the robot to detect obstacles, operate in deep shade, and manoeuvre through narrow passages without the need for a boundary wire.
The M9 Pro automatically maps the garden, supports up to 32 mowing zones via its app, and adapts its schedule to sunrise, sunset and weather data. Anthbot claims the system can identify more than 1,000 obstacle types and handle complex layouts such as under trampolines or around dense shrubbery. Compared with the current market leader Mammotion’s Luba mini 2 AWD, which relies on AI‑camera and NetRTK but lacks LiDAR, Anthbot argues its quad‑fusion approach provides more reliable performance in shaded or cluttered gardens.
