Anthony Adeniyi Adeosun, Husband of Former Finance Minister Kemi Adeosun, Dies in Lagos

Anthony Adeniyi (Niyi) Adeosun, a 62‑year‑old businessman and devoted Christian, died in Lagos on 5 August 2026. The Adeosun family announced his passing in a statement signed by Rev. C. A. Adeosun, expressing profound sorrow and gratitude for prayers.

The statement said he is survived by his wife, former Finance Minister Kemi Adeosun, their children, and siblings including Adewale Adeosun, founder of Kuramo Capital. Funeral and Christian burial arrangements will be announced later.
