Anthony Bell re-launches Comanche as Tribeca Loyal for 2026 Sydney Hobart
Anthony Bell has announced his return to the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race by purchasing the supermaxi Comanche and relaunching it as Tribeca Loyal. The 100-foot yacht, which currently holds the race record, will compete for Line Honours in the 2026 edition of the 628-nautical-mile challenge.
The campaign features a high-profile crew, with Olympic gold medallist and America’s Cup winner Tom Slingsby serving as Sailing Master. Other notable participants include Rugby Australia CEO Phil Waugh, who will join the crew as a “super sailor.”
The Tribeca Loyal program will continue to support the Humpty Dumpty Foundation, a charity dedicated to raising funds for life-saving medical equipment for children in Australian hospitals.
