Anthony Edwards pushes Minnesota Timberwolves for roster upgrades

Four‑time All‑Star Anthony Edwards has publicly expressed dissatisfaction with the Minnesota Timberwolves' current roster and is urging the franchise to seek significant upgrades this summer. Edwards, who has three years remaining on his contract at $48.9 M, $52.3 M and $55.7 M, lacks leverage to force a trade but hopes the team will add talent to remain competitive.

The demand comes after former teammate Karl‑Anthony Towns was traded to the New York Knicks and is now competing for a title, a situation that may be influencing Edwards' expectations.
