Anthony Edwards shows strong preseason form for Timberwolves

Anthony Edwards has demonstrated a strong start to the Minnesota Timberwolves' preseason, appearing to be near full health following offseason recovery for a knee injury. Edwards noted that after taking two months off to focus on healing, he feels “great” and is able to play without caution.

Alongside Edwards' physical readiness, teammate Ayo Dosunmu is emerging as a significant leader within the organization. Following a five-year, $112 million contract extension, Dosunmu has become more vocal in both offensive and defensive schemes. Edwards has praised Dosunmu’s competitive nature and willingness to challenge him during practice, stating that Dosunmu brings a level of toughness that the team has needed for years.
