Anthony Edwards targets Nike during Adidas tour in Philippines

Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards directed explicit criticism toward Nike during an Adidas promotional tour in the Philippines. While participating in the ‘Believe That.’ tour to unveil his third signature sneaker, the AE 3, Edwards took a microphone and performed an unscripted rap that targeted the rival footwear company.

During the freestyle, Edwards stated, “We don’t f*** with Nike. You can send them [slur] home.” The moment has since gone viral on social media.

Edwards has been a signature athlete for Adidas since 2020 and recently signed a multi-year contract extension reported to be worth over $10 million annually. His previous signature shoe, the AE 1, was a significant commercial success for the brand.
