Anthony Frith secures directing deal with The Asylum

Australian director Anthony Frith secured a deal with the Los Angeles-based production company The Asylum to direct a dinosaur feature film. Frith, who previously had limited screen credits including corporate promos, landed the opportunity after contacting The Asylum co-founder David Latt via Zoom.

In addition to directing the feature film, Frith also negotiated a deal to produce a documentary regarding the making of an Asylum movie. He noted that he may be the first person to secure such a deal simply by asking for it.
