Anthony Gordon impresses at FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona officials and coaching staff are reportedly highly satisfied with Anthony Gordon’s early impact following his high-profile transfer to the club. Hansi Flick specifically targeted the England international for his explosive pace and direct running style, which aligns with the manager's attacking vision.

Beyond his on-pitch performances, Gordon has been praised for his professionalism, work rate, and ambitious attitude. Club hierarchy and teammates have noted his quick integration into the squad and his positive character in the dressing room. There is growing optimism within the club that the 25-year-old will continue to develop into one of La Liga’s leading attackers.

The decision to sign Gordon follows a period where Barcelona had the option to purchase Marcus Rashford from Manchester United for £26 million after a previous loan, but the club ultimately prioritized the English winger instead.
