Anthony Gordon integrates into FC Barcelona following £70m transfer

Anthony Gordon is successfully adapting to FC Barcelona following his £70 million transfer from Newcastle. Although he has yet to score in his first five appearances, the English winger has recorded four assists in La Liga and has earned significant praise from fans and coaching staff.

Barcelona's sporting director, Deco, noted that Gordon was chosen over Marcus Rashford because his playing style, characterized by speed and verticality, aligns more closely with Hansi Flick's tactical vision. Gordon has also demonstrated strong integration into the club's culture, including learning Catalan and expressing admiration for teammates like Pedri.

Despite the lack of goals, manager Hansi Flick has emphasized the importance of Gordon's playmaking and tactical understanding. Recent match discussions have also highlighted fan reactions to his involvement in recent fixtures, including a match against Levante.
