Anthony Heraghty appointed CEO of Australia's Winning Group

Anthony Heraghty has taken over as chief executive of Winning Group, the parent of Winning Appliances, after John Winning Jr announced his resignation in April. Heraghty brings a decade of senior leadership experience from Super Retail Group, where he served as managing director, group managing director and CEO before stepping down following an alleged affair.

He began his tenure with a town‑hall meeting at the Redfern store in Sydney and visited the company's operations in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane later the same day. Employees described the session as positive and energising. Around the same time, Chris Tan departed as head of the Winning Academy training facility, Tim Collings expanded his responsibilities to include Victoria and Queensland, and Lyndsey Richardson was promoted to head of national retail performance.
