Anthony Horowitz's Marble Hall Murders to be adapted by BBC
Anthony Horowitz’s Marble Hall Murders, the third installment in the Susan Ryeland series, is being adapted into a six-part television series for BBC One. The story follows former book editor Susan Ryeland, portrayed by Lesley Manville, as she returns to England from Crete to work on a continuation novel in the Atticus Pünd series.
As Ryeland investigates the work of a troubled author, she becomes entangled in a real-life murder case and finds herself a suspect. The narrative features a dual structure, connecting contemporary mysteries with a fictional investigation involving the character Atticus Pünd, played by Tim McMullan, on the island of Corfu.
The production was filmed in locations including London, Corfu, and Dublin.
