Anthony Joshua‑Fury bout contract requires UK venue

Promoter Eddie Hearn says the contract for the long‑awaited heavyweight clash between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury contains an exclusive clause that the fight must take place in the United Kingdom. The agreement also bars Zuffa Boxing and its chief Dana White from any promotional role, despite Saudi financier Turki Al‑Alshikh’s ownership stake in the company.

Frank Warren, Fury’s promoter, confirmed that no final decision on the venue has been made but expressed a preference for a British location. He noted that funding considerations will ultimately determine the site, with recent speculation suggesting possible venues in the United States such as Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas or SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Joshua is slated to face Kristian Prenga on 25 July as a tune‑up before the Fury showdown.
