Anthony Martial Malaga CF La Liga football transfer free agent

French striker Anthony Martial is reportedly linked with a move to Malaga CF, following his departure from the Mexican club Monterrey. Martial, 30, is currently a free agent after his contract in Mexico expired in June.

Malaga, a newly promoted side in La Liga, is looking to bolster its squad after a difficult start to the season, currently sitting in 18th place with two draws and two losses. Martial previously played in La Liga during a loan spell with Sevilla in 2022.

Martial’s career includes significant stints at Lyon, AS Monaco, and Manchester United, where he was signed for €60 million in 2015. His market value reached a peak of €65 million in 2018, though his recent form has seen a decline.
