Anthony Martial nears move to Malaga CF

Former Manchester United striker Anthony Martial is reportedly close to joining Malaga CF, a club recently promoted to Spain's La Liga. The 30-year-old forward is currently a free agent following the early termination of his contract with CF Monterrey in June 2026.

Martial has reportedly prioritized a sporting project and a career resurgence in Europe over significant financial offers, including a lucrative proposal from the Libyan club Al-Ittihad Tripol. Malaga is seeking offensive reinforcements due to a long-term injury to Julen Lobete and currently sits in 18th place in La Liga.
