Anthony Vaccarello named CFDA International Designer of the Year

Anthony Vaccarello has been named the International Designer of the Year by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). The award recognizes his decade of work with the fashion house Saint Laurent.

The CFDA Fashion Awards, presented in collaboration with Amazon Fashion and hosted by Keke Palmer, are scheduled to take place on November 2 at the American Museum of Natural History.

Other notable honorees and nominees include Tory Burch, who will receive the Positive Change Award, and photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, who will receive the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award. The womenswear designer of the year category features nominees such as Wes Gordon for Carolina Herrera, Catherine Holstein for Khaite, Michael Kors, Rachel Scott for Diotima, and Tory Burch.
