Anthony Wint secures UFC contract after knockout win

Former NFL linebacker Anthony Wint has secured a UFC contract following a dominant performance on ‘Dana White’s Contender Series’. Wint, who played for the New York Jets, earned his spot in the heavyweight division after a 34-second first-round knockout victory over Matt Adams.

UFC President Dana White expressed interest in Wint’s eagerness to compete, noting that the fighter requested an immediate matchup. Consequently, Wint is scheduled to make his UFC debut against Terrance Chatman at UFC Sacramento on August 22 at the Golden 1 Center in California.

Wint maintains a perfect 7-0 professional MMA record, with six of those victories coming via stoppage. He currently trains at Kill Cliff FC in Florida.
