Anthrax releases twelfth studio album ‘Cursum Perficio’

The heavy metal band Anthrax has released their twelfth studio album, titled ‘Cursum Perficio’, through Nuclear Blast Records and Megaforce Records. This marks the group's first new album in over ten years.

The release is accompanied by a black-and-white music video for the title track, directed by Don Argott and starring actor London May. The video utilizes a ‘vérité’ style to explore themes of life, time, and struggle.

The album features ten new songs and runs for nearly 54 minutes. One notable track, ‘It’s for the Kids’, offers a blunt critique of political inaction and the inadequacy of ‘thoughts and prayers’ regarding societal issues.
