Anthropic adds mobile remote control to Claude Cowork and expands Claude Desktop for enterprise cloud deployments

Anthropic is testing a mobile version of its Claude Cowork tool that will act as a remote control for the desktop application. Screens show users being able to start and monitor long‑running tasks from a phone, while the heavy processing continues on the user's computer. The mobile interface is not a full standalone app but a way to command the desktop instance remotely.

In parallel, Anthropic announced that Claude Desktop will be available to organizations through major cloud providers—including AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Foundry—with a single application that bundles chat, Claude Cowork and Claude Code. The update adds enterprise deployment controls such as IAM integration, policy templates, offline installers, data‑residency options, and local inference. Administrators can manage access, telemetry and connector endpoints, and the system supports strict government‑cloud environments and Microsoft 365 integration.
