Anthropic adds personalized morning brief to Claude Cowork AI assistant

Anthropic's Claude Cowork, an AI workspace tool that runs on the Claude desktop app for Mac and Windows, can complete multi‑step business tasks and integrate with applications such as Slack, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. Launched in early 2026, the platform now includes a personalized morning‑briefing feature that pulls data from a user’s email, calendar and documents to deliver a summary of unread messages, upcoming meetings and priority tasks before the workday begins. The brief integrates with Gmail, Google Calendar, Slack and Sentry and functions offline thanks to Claude Cowork’s Dispatch capability, which schedules recurring autonomous tasks without continuous supervision.

Anthropic emphasizes that the brief is aimed at productivity rather than blockchain use; no crypto‑specific functionality was added. The rollout follows earlier updates like Projects and Google Workspace integrations, positioning Claude Cowork as an agentic AI assistant that moves beyond simple chatbots toward tools that can act within user‑defined guidelines.
