Anthropic and Salesforce announce AI integrations for CRM and Slack

Salesforce and Anthropic have announced a strategic partnership to integrate Salesforce CRM capabilities directly into the Claude artificial intelligence model. This initiative, referred to as ‘Claudeforce’, includes a ‘Salesforce in Claude’ add-on for the Claude CoWork tool. The integration features 37 preconfigured sales skills, allowing commercial teams to prepare meetings, evaluate operations, and analyze sales pipelines using natural language.

Simultaneously, Anthropic is expanding its presence in workplace communication by bringing ‘multiplayer AI’ to Slack. Rather than acting solely as a private assistant for individual tasks, Claude will function as a proactive agent within Slack channels. These agents are designed to monitor authorized workstreams, coordinate team activities, and connect enterprise data to group discussions, aiming to reduce the time employees spend searching across different applications and platforms.
