Claude Max is designed for heavy users, with pricing starting at $100 per month and reaching $200 per month. This tier provides 5x to 20x more usage per 5-hour session than the Pro plan, higher output limits, and priority access during busy hours. Additionally, Max subscribers receive monthly API credits ranging from $100 to $200 and early access to advanced features.

To improve the workflow for developers using Claude Code within VS Code on Windows, a new desktop notification tool called Claude Notify has been developed. The application provides summarized desktop notifications when Claude Code finishes a task and allows users to click the notification to immediately focus the correct VS Code window and conversation.
