Anthropic expands GSA partnership with 40% discount on Claude models

Anthropic has expanded its partnership with the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) under the OneGov agreement, providing federal agencies with a 40% discount on token usage across all Claude models. This new pricing structure shifts from flat fees to a consumption-based model, allowing agencies to pay based on actual usage.

The agreement extends to all federal agencies within the executive, legislative, and judicial branches, as well as state, local, and tribal governments. The deal facilitates access to authorized government environments, including those requiring FedRAMP compliance for sensitive unclassified work. This transition marks a move from initial evaluation phases toward practical operational deployment of AI within government workflows.
