Anthropic launches Claude Dashboards and Motion beta modules

Anthropic has introduced two new beta modules for its Claude AI platform: Claude Dashboards and Claude Motion.

Claude Dashboards allows users to generate data dashboards using natural language queries. The tool connects to various data warehouses and platforms, including BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, Amazon Redshift, ClickHouse, and Salesforce. It is designed for quick data verification, such as comparing registration metrics over different time periods, rather than replacing full business intelligence suites.

Claude Motion focuses on creating short animations from reports or charts. Unlike traditional generative video models, Motion uses code to animate text, shapes, and graphics, which allows for easier editing. These animations are exported as MP4 files and are currently available to Team and Enterprise subscribers.

Additionally, Anthropic announced that Claude Docs, Slides, and Design have moved out of beta and are now accessible to all users, including those on free plans.
