Anthropic Reopens Claude Fable 5 Globally with Limited-Time Promotion

Anthropic has reopened its Claude Fable 5 model for global use starting 1 July 2026 after a brief suspension caused by export‑control concerns. The model is available to eligible paid subscribers during a promotion that runs until 7 July (Taiwan time 8 July 02:59 UTC). Participants can allocate up to 50 % of their weekly subscription quota to Fable 5; this quota is shared with other Claude models rather than being an extra free allocation. Once the promotional limit is reached, further use is charged via usage‑credits on a pay‑per‑use basis. Fable 5 includes stricter safety controls and jailbreak detection, while the more permissive Claude Mythos 5 remains limited to trusted Glasswing partners.
