Anthropic acknowledged the issue, noting that while a mitigation was applied to reduce error rates, it was not sufficient for a full recovery. The company reported degraded performance and elevated errors across most services, though Claude for Government remained unaffected. Users have reported difficulties with sign-in attempts and account actions. While rival services like ChatGPT and Google Gemini saw minor spikes in reports, the outage was primarily concentrated on Anthropic’s platforms.
