Anthropic’s AI model, Claude, has developed a highly distinctive writing style characterized by short, punchy sentences and specific phrase patterns. This unique voice has become so recognizable that automated tools can identify it by matching specific linguistic patterns that were rare before Claude's emergence.

The style appears to influence other large language models (LLMs) that are distilled from Claude, such as Kimi K3. While other models like GPT-5 and Gemma 4 maintain more conventional prose, Claude’s specific tone may be a result of reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF) or a semi-deliberate design choice.
