Anthropic's Claude AI expands in Brazil and adds enterprise Slack features
Anthropic's chatbot Claude, nicknamed “Cláudio” in Brazil, is moving beyond its corporate niche and attracting a growing base of individual users. Users in Brazil report using Claude for study, work tasks and rapid content summarisation, challenging OpenAI's ChatGPT for popularity in the market. Anthropic says the model now outpaces its rival in revenue and valuation, with a US $47 billion valuation versus OpenAI's US $30 billion.
The company also announced a new capability that lets Claude learn gradually from conversations and documents shared on Slack. By accessing internal messages, projects and other data, Claude can better understand team processes and deliver more relevant, personalised responses for enterprises, positioning it against rivals such as Google, OpenAI and Microsoft.
