Anti-Corruption Bureau raids locations linked to suspended DSP Bheem Reddy

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted searches at 10 locations in Hyderabad and Zaheerabad linked to suspected benamis of suspended DSP Sankireddy Bheem Reddy. The operation resulted in the seizure of Rs 1.35 crore in unaccounted cash, foreign currency, and approximately 14 litres of foreign liquor.

During the searches, which included a farmhouse and residences of individuals suspected of having financial transactions with the officer, officials recovered several documents and materials serving as evidence of suspected benami assets. One specific seizure included Rs 1.35 crore in cash found at the residence of Bomma Venkatesh in Jubilee Hills.

Bheem Reddy, who previously served as DSP in Police Computer Services at the Telangana DGP's office, was arrested on June 2 in a disproportionate assets case. The current searches were conducted under warrants issued by the Principal Special Judge for SPE and ACB Cases.
