Anti-corruption2026 website returns amid Slovenian corruption allegations

The website anti-corruption2026.com has returned online after several months of inactivity. The site previously hosted a series of secret recordings released before parliamentary elections, which allegedly depicted various figures from the political left discussing corruption, bribery of media, and state enterprise privatization.

Previously released footage included discussions involving former Justice Minister Dominika Švarc Pipan, lawyer Nina Zidar Klemenčič, lobbyist Rok Hodej, and Dejan Paravan. Specific allegations mentioned in the recordings included claims regarding Ljubljana Mayor Zoran Janković taking commissions on municipal business and discussions surrounding the privatization of GEN-I.

An anonymous report has been submitted to the Commission for the Prevention of Corruption, the General Police Directorate, and the Specialized State Prosecutor's Office. This report reportedly re-attaches four previous complaints originally filed in March 2026. The reappearance of the website coincides with the pre-referendum period in Slovenia, leading to speculation regarding the potential release of additional recordings.
